Weekly classes

Course Title: Weekly Bharatanatyam classes / wöchentlicher indischer klassischer Tanzunterricht in Leonberg bei Stuttgart

Overview:
Bharatanatyam ist eine der ältesten klassischen Tanzformen Indiens und verbindet präzise Bewegungen, Rhythmus, Ausdruck, Musik und kulturelles Wissen. In this course you shall receive all the training and guidance needed to learn this beautiful art form.

Target Audience:
All interested dance enthusiasts can join, min. age of 6 years. The batch is suitable for beginners and returning dancers – more batches shall be introduced soon.

Schedule & Location:

• When: Every Monday evening from 17:30 – 19:00 starting 01.02.2026.
• Where: BEMOTIONlab in the Dieselstraße 6, 71229 Leonberg on the 1st floor. It is about 10-12 walking from the Leonberg S-Bahn station, and from the Leo Center.

Course Content & Highlights:

• In diesem Kurs lernst du die grundlegenden Adavus, the foundational steps that build strength, coordination and musicality.
• Wir arbeiten an Posture, Footwork & Arm Coordination, begleitet von traditionellen rhythm syllables.
• A key element of the training is Abhinaya, die Kunst des Ausdrucks, mit der Geschichten und Emotionen dargestellt werden.
• Step by step entwickeln wir kleine Choreographies, die Technik und Ausdruck miteinander verbinden.
• Der Unterricht beinhaltet auch theoretical insights zu Musik, Symbolik und kulturellem Kontext.
• Leichte Kräftigungs- und Dehnübungen unterstützen eine gesunde Tanzpraxis und fördern Körperbewusstsein.

• Cost: Monthly fees of €60.
